Radar Blind Spot with Reverse Cross Traffic Detection
Blind Spot Monitoring and detection system that works like original equipment-based systems. Giving you alerts for vehicles not only approaching from behind but also vehicles you may be passing.
If a vehicle enters your left or rear blind spot while driving 13 mph or greater the system will alert you, by illuminating the visual indicator on the side the vehicle is in your blind spot. If you put your turn signal on, the visual indicator will flash and an audible warning will sound to alert you.
Reverse Cross Traffic alerts you, when backing/reversing out of a tight space and visibility is limited while vehicles are approaching from left or right side.
Visual indicators are mounted inside to your vehicles A-pillars, which is at the bottom of your windshield right and left side, rear view mirror height in easy view of the driver. The sensor are mounted behind the bumper hidden from view and a small adjustable buzzer for audible alerts is hidden under the dash.
Camera-Based Blind Spot Systems
Our highly skilled technicians will install one or two cameras under the side-view mirrors on your car, truck or SUV. We have a range of options to display the image from the cameras. If you drive a vehicle with a color screen in the dash, chances are good we can integrate it. Other options, replacement radio with display, rear view mirror with display or standalone display.
Whenever you operate your blinker on the side the camera is installed the image of the blind spot will appear on the display.
MOBILEYE
As new cars hit the roads with advanced safety features, drivers of older cars may wish they had access to the same vehicle technology being offered... and now they can. The Mobileye Collision Avoidance System is a forward crash and lane departure warning system.
Forward Collision Avoidance
A front camera watches and calculates distances to vehicles in front of the driver, alerting them to an impending crash if the distance between vehicles becomes too close.
Lane Departure Warning
While driving, the front facing camera is monitoring the vehicle’s position within its driving lane. If a lane departure is detected without the use of a turn signal, the ADAS will alert the driver.
Pedestrian and Cyclists Detection
System watches for pedestrian crosswalks and detects when people are crossing in front of Traffic.
Safe Distance Alert
Generates a safe distance in front of your vehicle to prevent tail gating
Virtual Bumper
Generates a virtual bumper length in front of your vehicle to prevent tail gaiting.
OUR PARKING SENSORS LOOK AND PERFORM LIKE FACTORY
One of the main reasons our sensors are so popular is the fit and finish of our installation. Our sensors look like factory installed systems, because we can paint them to match the vehicle, no black dots on your bumper that stand out.
When you are backing up or trying to park your vehicle, parking sensors do a great job of giving you accurate depth perception.
Four sensor rear and or four sensor front parking assist system can be installed on any vehicle - car, SUV or truck. When an object is detected in the area when parking the driver will be alerted inside the vehicle with warning tones from slow beep, to rapid beep and then solid tone when closest. Sensors mount into the rear bumper or front bumper. Sensors come in black and are easily paintable.
An optional distance readout is available on the optional LED display that can be installed conveniently on the vehicle dash for front sensor systems or inverted for headliner mounting with rear sensor systems. The numerical distance from object readout is shown in inches, along with a color-coded green, yellow and red warning.
BACKUP CAMERAS LET YOU SEE THE BLIND SPOTS BEHIND YOU
Most of us have heard stories of someone who has been injured or killed by a car that was backing up. If you look at the bumpers on vehicles when you’re walking through a parking lot, you will see dents and scratches that could often be prevented with one of our systems. When you put your transmission in reverse, your camera system will spring to life, letting you see what is going on behind you. Now, a renewed sense of confidence will emerge whenever you begin to back up.
FRONT CAMERAS GIVE GREAT DEPTH PERCEPTION
As you drive your car, truck or SUV around a crowded parking lot, it can be hard to know exactly where the corners of your front bumper are. Adding one of our front-view cameras will dramatically improve your depth perception. You will also see those concrete parking blocks and curbs, helping you avoid damage to the bottom of your bumper.
Activating the camera is very easy – we have two common ways to make it work. On some vehicles, we can make a factory button activate your camera; in other situations, we install a micro switch that is unobtrusive, yet easy to reach

A remote car starter is exactly that: a way to start your car, securely, from afar… whether afar is from the dressing room at Nordstrom, your office on the 32nd floor, or the warmth of your own bed on a cold morning.
There are even car starters that can be integrated into your existing car key. (So you don’t have to carry around another gadget, it’s already there.) These systems are primarily for newer vehicles with the more advanced factory-installed data systems, but your vehicle could very well be a candidate if it was made in the past few years. Once the system is installed, simply press the “lock” button 3 times, and your vehicle will turn on a few seconds later. No added mess to your key ring, and it operates almost exactly like the factory-installed remote start systems.
Remote car starters come in three basic forms:
1: Integrated into your car’s own original equipment manufacturer (OEM) fob (your car key)
2: Aftermarket fobs that you put on your key ring,
3: As apps that work on your smartphone.
Choosing the right range.
How far are you from your vehicle when you’re at home? What about when you’re at work? Chances are good that those distances will vary greatly.
If you opt to have a system installed that uses your vehicle factory key fob to initiate the remote start activation, you’ll be limited to maybe 30-40 feet. Is that enough? If not, consider a system that comes with its own key pads, as these will have much longer range – upwards of a mile! Sure, it’s a new remote that may have to find a home on your already-cluttered key ring. If you’re adamant about a clutter-free key ring, then consider the App based remote start system. This allows you to activate the remote start from an iPhone or Android smartphone. This system offers unlimited range (as long as your phone has service, of course)
OVERHEAD VIDEO SOLUTIONS
Rear seat entertainment systems first came along in the mid 1990s as a flip-down screen solution. Nowadays, Car Spa has multiple screen sizes in colors that complement your vehicle’s interior. Since we are fanatical about our products looking and performing like factory-installed options, you can rest assured that one of our finished systems will give you years of reliable service.
HEADREST OPTIONS
The second type of system we offer is a headrest solution. For some vehicles, we have a complete replacement headrest that comes with an integrated LCD monitor and DVD player. In certain applications, the original headrest can’t be removed, so we offer what is known as a seatback solution that tastefully installs a screen directly behind the original headrest. All our systems are designed with factory-matching materials and build quality, and are never universal, one-size-fits all products. In fact, our systems come out of the same factory that builds the vast majority of the rear seat entertainment systems for vehicle manufacturers.
MULTIPLE OPTIONS FOR YOUR VIDEO PLEASURE
While the vast majority of our systems come with integrated DVD players, we also have options that include USB and HDMI ports, wireless streaming, and mobile hotspot integration. If you have a way that you like to watch video that involves getting it through streaming, chances are we have a solution for you. Of course, we will make all of this equipment look like a factory-installed option.
USE WIRELESS HEADPHONES OR YOUR STEREO SYSTEM
In most instances, you will want the passengers watching the video to use a set of wireless headphones, giving you the luxury of playing the car stereo system with your favorite music. Should the need arise to listen to the audio through your factory stereo, all of our systems come with that option as standard equipment.
CUSTOM VIDEO INSTALLATION OPTIONS
If you own a vehicle such as a Sprinter, Transit or NV, we can install larger monitors in your vehicle, typically up to 32” in diameter. Would you like to watch satellite TV while driving? IN-DASH NAVIGATION SYSTEMS STILL PROVIDE THE MOST-ACCURATE DATA
If you are like most people, you have used the navigation that comes for free on your smartphone – and you might have found that the free software can sometimes let you down. You are on your way to a time-sensitive gathering, meeting, dinner, etc., only to find your phone says, “You have arrived at your destination” but you are are not at the right place. Fortunately, the navigation software in our installed units is more accurate, so it gets you to the right address on the first try.
INSTALLED SYSTEMS THAT INTEGRATE SEAMLESSLY WITH YOUR VEHICLE
Car Spa specializes on installing solutions that work and perform like factory-installed equipment. Maybe you have an older Mercedes that is a great car but is lacking in technology? Our team can install a navigation unit, along with popular add-ons such as Bluetooth, backup cameras, satellite radio, and USB ports – your vehicle will look like it came with a factory upgrade when we are finished. Does your vehicle have steering wheel-mounted audio controls? We will integrate them with the new unit. Does it have a factory-installed backup camera? Our staff can integrate it with your new unit.
A BETTER SYSTEM PUTS YOU AT EASE WHILE DRIVING
If you decide to go with an integrated navigation system from us, you will experience a lower level of stress while driving. The screen is bigger than the one on your phone and we place it high up in the dash, making it easy to see. When you come upon a turn, the stereo system is muted and it announces the turn announced. After you complete the turn, the music ramps back up. This way, you never miss a turn because you were talking or had your music blaring. You also get incredible accuracy since our systems use external GPS antennas that allow for more accuracy in city driving. This is especially helpful when you can have multiple turns in close proximity to each other.
CARPLAY AND ANDROID AUTO INTEGRATION
If you own an iPhone or an Android phone, some of the hottest technology to come down the pike are Apple’s CarPlay and Google’s Android Auto. These are software that allow you to harness the power of your smartphone safely while driving. Imagine making calls, sending or receiving text messages, playing music, setting reminders, and using the phone’s navigation almost exclusively via voice control? All of it will be displayed on the new touchscreen unit we install in your dash. We have solutions that include our accurate, embedded navigation and models that rely on the phone’s GPS, giving you the option of one or both.
ADVANCED SMARTPHONE INTEGRATION
A few years ago, Apple realized that drivers were being distracted by their iPhones. They set out to develop an interface that would allow the driver to keep his or her hands on the steering wheel and eyes on the road. Apple CarPlay uses the Siri voice recognition engine and software installed on your radio to understand voice commands. Google caught wind of this technology and created Android Auto to provide similar functionality from smartphones that run the Android operating system.
WHAT CAN APPLE CARPLAY AND ANDROID AUTO DO?
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make it easy to answer incoming text messages, send short e-mails or make phone calls without having to scroll through your contacts or type on the screen. All you have to do is ask for what you want, and the system does the rest. You can listen to voice mail on your phone or hear your last SMS message from your best friend. Calling someone is just as easy. Thanks to the Internet connection on your smartphone, searching for restaurants, hotels, or gas stations is as easy as asking.
Both systems offer a variety of entertainment options. You can ask to listen to music on your phone by song title, artist name or album name. Streaming services like Apple Music, Google Play Music, Pandora, iHeartRadio and Tidal can provide endless entertainment options for your commute or road trip.
NAVIGATE SAFELY
Part of driving safely is knowing where you are going. Android Auto and CarPlay both offer turn-by-turn, GPS-based navigation solutions that make driving safer and more efficient. Maps are stored in the cloud, meaning you never have to buy updates and always have the latest information available.
You can choose destinations from your phone or by asking the system to search for an address, business name or landmark. Real-time traffic flow and accident information are integrated into both systems, so your route will be as efficient as possible.
